Dr. Kristyn Richardson, DVM, CCRT, CVSMT
I attended college at the University of Kansas where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology in 1998. I attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. After working eight years in emergency medicine, I completed my education in veterinary acupuncture from IVAS and my certification in canine rehabilitation from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2010. After working in veterinary emergency medicine, I worked specifically in small animal physical rehabilitation and during that time obtained my certification in veterinary spinal manipulation from Healing Oasis in 2014. I have continued to work within all 3 of these enlarging and evolving fields, integrating my knowledge to help my patients, both small and large animals, achieve the best performance and quality of life possible. I created my own business, Kinetics Integrative Veterinary Care in 2017, with the idea that there are many ways to keep an animal’s body comfortably and efficiently in motion throughout any stage of competition and life. With a husband, 2 sons and 3 dogs, I also am a constant body in motion, and I love every minute of it both personally and professionally. Currently I am delving into the world of statistics and clinical research and am working on obtaining certification in equine physical rehabilitation.

I am a Colorado native, born in Alamosa, in the San Luis Valley. I love to be outside and with animals as much as I can. I enjoy spending time with my Chihuahua, June Bug, painting, photography, and being in the mountains. Massage therapy was my window into the therapy world for animals. In 2004 I graduated from the Healing Arts Institute as a massage therapist. After a few years I found the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage, earning my canine massage therapy certification in 2008. I love helping animals, and making new four legged friends everyday. The past 14 years in the pet industry has been very rewarding for me and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
